reflection

Made a box sculpture using a cardboard box painted the inside white. Kept to a musical theme with a CD coming out a foam block and stairs that resembled piano keys. I looked at the artist Carol Bove who looks at form and space in her work similar to what I was doing with the CD coming out of my box as an elevated form. I got slightly stuck halfway through as I only bought a few objects to fill my box with so I did some drawings of the box and then some paintings inspired by what I had done. I was exploring structure and line sticking to the lilac black and white colour scheme of my box.
